When you go from kitchen island to island, there’s a new challenge
By KAREN WOOLSEYK Source News24 As a new resident of Kitchen Island, Sullivan, a woman with an insatiable appetite for food, has found herself surrounded by a sea of fish.
The 24-year-old, who is a part-time chef, is also an avid fisherman and is currently in the process of finding a new job.
But there are some challenges she has to face before she can be considered for the next job.
The food industry is a tough industry to get into.
So Sullivans main job is to find a job, and for the first two months she spent in the island’s kitchen, she was hungry.
Sullivan said she first saw the island when she was 12 and the food there was amazing.
“I love the freshness of the fish and I loved the quality of the food,” Sulligan said.
“I’m really passionate about the food and it’s something that’s really good for me.”
Sullivani said she is a regular visitor to Kitchen island and enjoys being there, but she said she has always had a difficult time finding work.
“There are a lot of people who have been here a while and I haven’t seen them in years,” she said.
The main problem for the former kitchen assistant is that she has been told she can’t go on Kitchen islands regular days of work, but Sullivaan said it is not that easy.
“The majority of my friends are here, so I can go on there.
But I don’t have the time to go out there and have fun with them, and then to make them happy,” Suldivan said.
“I have to do what they ask me to do and I have to take the time off from work to go there.”
Suldivan is also concerned about how her husband, Suldivaan, will react if he sees the footage of her cooking.
Suldivaans husband works as a dishwasher and said he has had to make changes in order to accommodate her as he works on a new contract.
“It’s not good to do this, it’s not right,” he said.
Suldivans family is also a part of the islanders work force, with her grandparents in the kitchen and her brother and sister working on the island.
Su llivans grandfather said he is happy that Sullivean is able to work.
He said he thinks the community should be involved in making the island as hospitable as possible.
“We need the community to help me get to Kitchens island and help me out,” he explained.
“When I was a child, we used to get together at night and cook food, but it was a very difficult time for me.”Now I don´t want to go back to that because it´s not safe.
“Sullavani said while she has her own problems to face, she is determined to be the best she can for her family.”
You can’t put it in a bottle and take it out and never see it again,” she added.
She is hoping to get a job soon, but for now, she has a lot to live up to.”
What I want is for people to know I am not a bad person,” she explained.
